Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Davis Mountains in Far West Texas, this 6500-acre ranch is one of America's premier High Adventure areas. The camp is nationally recognized and fully accredited by the Boy Scouts of America. This camp has been a safe haven for Scouts and Scouters since 1947.

Camp Thomas COPE Course

Camp Thomas COPE Course is located on 51+ rugged acres of true West Texas topography. It is a very impressive COPE course, boasting an all inclusive array of challenge events second to none anywhere! The course was constructed by Rope Works Inc. and adheres to all Boy Scouts of America and Association for Challenge Course Technology standards.

Hughes Aquatic Base

Hughes Aquatic Base is located on one of the north shores of Lake Colorado City. The camp is often used for aquatic merit badge sessions, Cub Scout Day Camp, Boy Scout camping, Woodbadge training, and even family reunions. The proximity to Camp Thomas COPE course makes Hughes Aquatic Base a great place to stay during COPE events or just all around fun on the water. Hughes Aquatic Base has canoes, rowboats, and sailboats that also provide great recreation.
